This is probably what you think of first when you hear the word “technology.” It includes things like computers, smartphones, cars, and even simple tools like hammers and screwdrivers. Technology isn’t just about physical things. It also includes the knowledge and processes that we use to create and use those things. For example, the knowledge of how to code a computer program is a technology, even though it’s not a physical object.
