Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is a shooting game developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision released on 10 November 2023. This game offers both Single Player and Multiplayer and is available on PlayStation (both Playstation 4 and Playstation 5), Xbox (Series X/S), Battle.net (PC) and Steam (PC).
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Update
After a lot of people criticizing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, the franchise decided to work on their new update and now this new season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 looks pretty f-word wild.
In reviews, a user wrote “Its the exact same thing as MW2 but everything you hate about that game is multiplied here.” Another user who refunded the game wrote “You’re better off just flushing your money down the toilet…
Save the risk of your sanity and go play a game with good developers.”
This update is adding a lot to the game here, We are talking about :
- Six new multiplayer maps
- New Perks, a bunch of new perks actually
- Four new guns
- New Battle Pass
- New levels
- New challenges
and everything essentially and this is probably going to be the biggest season we ever had since they went from the older map pack model to the seasonal models. (Fortnite, eh?)
1. Six Maps
With the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 update, it will have six maps, where three of them are going to be completely brand new, one is going to be a remaster, and two of them will be repurposed maps. When it comes to the launch maps, it will come when season 3 drops on April 3rd which will feature a six-star resort at the top of a Skyscraper in Dubai.
Another map of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will called “Emergency”, which will have a military facility on the top of a remote mountain range.
The third map will be called “Grow house” which will be a remaster of map “Sphere” from Call of Duty: Vanguard (people hate this game but the maps were cool).
Those we are going to have for the day of Season 3 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
With Season 3 reloaded, we are going to get “Tanked”, which will be a repurposed map. Those who played Call of Duty : Warzone, will know know that this is the Zoo Area of the Von Del Warzone map.
I’m personally okay with this map while some people call it “recycling, repurposing or lazy or whatever.”, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 straight-up called it “Repurposing Map”.
The next map we have is called “Checkpoint” which is again another repurposed map. It’s going to be the stronghold area of Rebirth Island.
The last map of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 will be “Grime” which is going to be a completely original map. The location of this map is going to be set in London Canal which will be sort of a slummy area of the city.
Game Modes
We are going to have four game modes in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 which includes “Capture the Flag”, “The Chamber and Escort”, and a new mode called “Minefield” which will feature mines. Just like Zombies mode, Minefield will feature a mine when a player dies. You can’t pick up the mines or anything like that, your teammates can’t over them but if an enemy players run over that mine, it will explode.

New Perks
We have new perks to be added to the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 game, where will have Gunslinger Vest which will protect against weapons, Modular Assault Rig which will help you to carry Ammo, Compression Carries (something I’m most excited about) will help you to regenerate your health, and lastly we have Reinforced Boots.
New Weapons
We are going to have 4 new weapons
- FJX Horus – SMG.
- MORS – Sniper Rifle.
- Gladiator – Melee. or Bu** Plug Melee Weapon (Sorry, JK)
- BAL-27 – Assault Rifle.
New Battle Pass
The new Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Battle Pass will be something we will remember for a long time. 6 “multiplayer maps” is crazy, That’s 2 to 3 seasons worth of MW2 content. This is one of the biggest road maps of Call of Duty if not all of the video game.
