Elden Ring publisher's free games on Steam

Bandai Namco Entertainment, the company that published Elden Ring on Steam for PC and on other consoles like PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox X/S.

The developer and publisher released a few of the most popular games, like Tekken 8, Elden Ring, Little Nightmare II, Dark Souls, and many more.

While Elden Ring was well worth buying, many of you wouldn’t know that the developers have secretly released a few games that are available to play on Steam for free. Let’s find out the games and see if they’re worth downloading.

The games released by Elden Ring’s publisher Bandai Namco on Steam are

1. Doronko Wanko

Elden Ring’s publisher, Bandai Namco, released Doronko Wanko on March 26, 2024. The game is completely free on Steam. As of now, it has a solid rating of 10/10 on Steam.

The name Doronko is taken from the Japanese festival where you get dirty and make everyone dirty around you (sounds like a sub-genre of a fetish website), but I had great fun with this game. The gameplay is quite fun, where you play as a fluffy Pomeranian who just moved into a brand new home with your family.

The story revolves around your family, where the mom gets ready to cook some dinner for a welcome party, just like a “housewarming party,” and the rest of the family members go out to buy some party poppers and other stuff. Still, you have to decide to trash the joint. Now you wander as your Pomeranian, knocking over things and spilling paint or exploding food and you roll on them using one of your trigger buttons. You can go to another place or room to shake your body to free yourself of the wine and crayons or whatever you covered yourself with.

With every dirt you spread, the damage meter will rank up, and this is how the game transpires. You can unlock various weapons with the amount of mess you create. In my opinion, it is a very well-constructed single-player game.

The reason I feel it is a free-to-play game is because it has a limited map. It is just one single house. The game is a one-hour experience where you can go around, cause as much damage as possible, and complete the challenges.

I’m really impressed with the developers for creating a game that is completely opposite of Elden Ring as is almost as fun as Goat Simulator. So go ahead and grab this game for free on Steam.

2. Boomeroad

Boomeroad is an Indie, Action, and Adventurous game developed by Bandai Namco, the company that published games like Elden Ring and Tekken. This game got a rating of 9/10 on Steam. Boomeroad is a game that will make you feel like you are playing a video game on your Nintendo Switch. The graphics and gameplay feel like Legends of Zelda.

The game was released on the same day as the release of Doronko Wanko i.e. March 26, 2024.

The gameplay revolves around an ancient ruin site where the player slides through the vast skies to search for artifacts. To travel, you need to throw boomerangs, which will draw a rail where you can travel gallantly.

If you love puzzles, this game is for you, as you get numerous difficulties as you progress with the game. It’s a fun game, and I wonder why the developer didn’t make a big announcement of the games that are too good to be forgotten.

3. Nottolot

Nottolot is a free-to-play robot hacking game released on March 26, 2024. We can say that all of these free-to-play games were released on that date. The game received a rating of 8/10 on Steam.

Nottolot is a cute and easy-to-play puzzle game. The game is short, cute, and free to play. What’s there not to like? In the beginning, you may have trouble changing the language of the game as it comes in Japanese by default. As I played the game, I loved it. It took me an hour to beat the game.

As I said, Nottolot is a robot-hacking game. You have to control enemy robots with the main character’s ability. The gameplay is quite fun. You can climb walls, fly, and more. In the game, you are stuck in a robot factory. Can you escape from the robot production factory guarded by enemy robots? Go play now and find that out.
