After many years, Apple is going to change the design of its budget-friendly iPhone SE 4. It will come with a display, new security features, and the same old notch. Although Apple should get rid of this notch now, Apple does not believe in quick change. In the future, the iPhone will get rid of the Apple Dynamic Notch and come with a new Finch Hole Notch, in which space will be given only for the dedicated camera.
But the same notch is going to come in the SE 4 as in the iPhone 14. There will not be much difference between SE 4 and the old iPhone 14. There can be a slight change in the design of the back camera. We can also say that this is the brother of the 2-year-old iPhone 14, which will come with a new look.
The new SE 4 will now have a larger display size of 6.1 inches, which will have a notch. Talking about the display resolution, it will have a 6.1-inch OLED 60Hz display in which special features are going to be oleophobic coating, scratch-resistant glass (Ceramic Shield), ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. The display size of the old SE 3 was 4.7 inches, which really makes it a very compact phone. The new SE 4 will have the latest software and hardware of the SE series, which will have Apple’s latest Apple Bionic chipset. No connectivity problem has been heard of in the iPhone till date, although network issues have been seen in some beta updates, but Apple also fixes it in the next update. With 5G technology, many bands of 5G can be seen in the SE 4. Which also depends on the carrier. This is going to be the first SE model of Apple, in which advanced Wi-Fi 7 will be given. For Wi-Fi, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band technology will be used in it. For Bluetooth connectivity, there will be 5.3, A2DP, LE, and for navigation, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS, and QZSS. NFC will also be supported in Se 4.
The new SE 4 will also have a new type C charging port, which is really good news. Apple is already providing type C charging port in its other series, and now it will be seen in this as well. With this, the phone will be charged fast, and a universal charger will also be available, and data transfer will also happen at high speed.
Storage
For storage, the SE4 2025 will be offered with 128GB/6GB RAM and 256GB/6GB RAM as always. However, 128GB of storage will seem very little in 2025. The preinstalled apps in the phone consume 15-20 GB of storage, and the storage gets used up more when the rest of the apps are downloaded. The system file also covers 8–10 GB of storage. However, out of 128 GB, 112-115 GB of storage is available. This is good for those users who want to buy an iPhone on budget. For pro users, gamers, and photography enthusiasts, they can go for the higher model.
Talking about the storage type, Apple will provide NVMe storage in SE 4 which is an upgraded version of SSD which is quite fast, and its data read and transfer speed will also be quite fast. Apple has not shown any stinginess in the storage type or rather it has not done cost cutting in this. This will be the best storage for fast booting and gaming of apps.
Camera
The SE 4 is quite popular for its camera, and it is directly compared with Samsung and Google. In flagship-category smartphones, the focus remains on the camera. SE 4 will have a single 48 MP wide-angle dual pixel PDAF. Which will support OIS (Optical image stabilisation). The camera quality is going to be much better in terms of photography and videography.
